Board of Directors Application

PMA, the Independent Book Publishers Association welcomes nominations for positions on its board of directors, which is a working board with two-year terms. Officers are expected to serve on committees, attend four meetings a year, and represent the best interests of PMA’s 4000+ members.

Any PMA member may nominate someone for the board, but the nominated person is not required to be an active PMA member. A selection committee comprised of past-presidents, the executive director, past PMA Board members and a current board member review applications and make recommendations to the board and general membership for candidates, who are voted upon at the PMA Annual Meeting (typically during a luncheon at the PMA Publishing University).

Deadline for nominations: February 29.
