About the Program
PMA buys full page increments within the major trade journals, divides the amount into approximately 8-10 titles per page and resells the space to its members. This brings the price of advertising in the major trade journals (i.e., Publishers Weekly ) to an affordable rate. PMA designs and typesets the ad and presents the magazine with negatives. We will attempt to group books in genre-specific categories on a page-by-page basis as participation allows. The benefits of this program are that the smaller independent press can appear larger than actual due to the presentation of many like titles to specific buyers.
